Euroleague teams up with insurance partner

Insurance provider Axa Spain has become a sponsor of the Euroleague and EuroCup basketball tournaments.

Under the deal with Euroleague Basketball, which operates the competitions, Axa will be granted branding exposure at every game, as well as via digital platforms offering coverage of the tournament.

Neither the length of the agreement nor the financial terms of the deal have been disclosed, but the deal will run until at least the end of the 2018-19 campaign.

Axa Spain has joined a commercial portfolio that already includes the Euroleague’s title sponsor, Turkish Airlines; the Title Sponsor of the EuroCup, 7 Days; sportswear company adidas and Lottery.com.

The second-tier sponsors include Spalding, VTB, Eneos Motor Oil, DO Rioja, Tripoki, StubHub, Siesta and Tadim.
