Italian car manufacturer Alfa Romeo has agreed a deal to become the official vehicle of Spanish LaLiga football club RCD Espanyol.
The agreement will cover the remainder of the 2017-18 season.
Espanyol signed the partnership with the Spanish division of Fiat Chrysler Automobiles, Alfa Romeo’s parent company.
Alfa Romeo will benefit from exposure at the RCDE Stadium, while the company will also provide the Catalonia-based club with a fleet of vehicles.
Luca Parasacco, chief executive of FCA Spain and Portugal, said: “With this sponsorship, RCD Espanyol becomes a strategic ally for us when it comes to sharing future projects in Catalonia.”
