IT company EMC has agreed a deal to return as an official sponsor of American football’s NFL International Series ahead of the first of two games at Wembley Stadium this year.
Terms of the deal were not disclosed, but EMC’s new partnership comes after its successful sponsorship of last year’s NFL game in London.
EMC will also continue to support Super Bash, the NFL’s official UK Super Bowl party, and nfluk.com, the NFL’s official UK website.
After six International Series games at Wembley since 2007, the NFL is staging two regular-season games in 2013, with the Minnesota Vikings hosting the Pittsburgh Steelers on Sunday before the Jacksonville Jaguars take on the San Francisco 49ers on October 27. The Jaguars will also play a home game in each of the three subsequent seasons, 2014-16.
EMC is also a local sponsor of the New England Patriots, who have won two International Series games in London.
