US fast-food chain KFC has agreed a deal to sponsor Ekstraklasa Games, the official esports competition of the top tier of Polish club football.
KFC will serve as an official partner of the competition, which sees gamers compete against one another on EA Sports’ Fifa 19.
As part of the agreement, KFC will organise special activations for fans of both Fifa 19 and the Ekstraklasa.

The tournament offers Fifa 19 Global Series ranking points and serves as a potential qualification route for the Fifa eWorld Cup.
The deal has been signed as the English Premier League holds the final stage of its ePremier League competition, which concludes today (Friday).
