French energy company EDF has agreed a long-term sponsorship deal with Fédération Française de Football (FFF), the sport’s governing body in the country.
The deal will run for four years, from 2014-15 to 2017-18, and will begin after this summer’s Fifa World Cup international tournament in Brazil.
The deal covers all France men’s, women’s and youth national teams. EDF will also become a major partner of the Coupe de France club knockout competition and all amateur football overseen by the FFF.
The value of the deal was not disclosed.
Last month, EDF signed a three-year deal with the FIA, motorsport’s global governing body.
