Hertha Berlin is looking for a new main sponsor after railway company Deutsche Bahn said it will downgrade its partnership with the German Bundesliga football club.
Deutsche Bahn has been Hertha’s shirt sponsor since July 2006 but will serve as an exclusive partner from the 2015-16 season.
Achim Stauß, spokesman for Deutsche Bahn, said: “We have accompanied Hertha BSC since 2006 as the main sponsor and official mobility and logistics (partner) and always stood by Hertha BSC. The club was alway cooperative and trusting. Now the time has come to move into the second term. But we remain further connected to the exclusive partnership. Together we will continue important projects.”
Deutsche Bahn will continue its collaborations with the club on youth football camps and travel offers for supporters attending home and away games.
