German logistics firm DB Schenker has agreed a partnership with the Mercedes Formula One motor racing team.
The deal is for four years and runs from the forthcoming 2015 season until the end of the 2018 campaign.
DB Schenker will provide logistics services for Mercedes at all European races, tests and promotional events, including the transportation of its cars.
At the end of last month, Mercedes added travel lifestyle brand TUMI, Japanese electronics company Epson and German helmet manufacturer Schuberth to its commercial roster.
Mercedes’ Lewis Hamilton will defend his drivers’ championship this season, while the team is also the reigning constructors’ champion.
