Danish handball leagues land title sponsor

The Danish Handball League has struck a deal for domestic pay-television operator Boxer to become the new title sponsor of the country's top-tier men’s and women’s club competitions.

The men’s league deal will run for two years, from 2014-15 to 2015-16. The women’s agreement will run for one year, covering the 2014-15 season.

Under the deal, the leagues will now be known as the Boxer Men's League and Boxer Women's League.

The deal marks the first occasion that the same company has served as title sponsor of both the men’s and women’s competition.
