Constellation renews partnership with United Center, major league duo

US energy supplier Constellation has extended its partnership with the United Center and the arena’s two major league tenants – NBA basketball franchise the Chicago Bulls and NHL ice hockey team the Chicago Blackhawks.

Under the new deal, the length of which was not disclosed, Constellation will continue to serve as the official energy company of the United Center.

As part of the agreement, Constellation will sponsor one ‘Green Game’ for each team per season, as well as a local community event.

The enhanced partnership will also result in the arena’s lower-suite level being renamed as the Constellation Suite Level. A number of upgrades have been carried out in the space, which comprises 59 club boxes, during the off-season to enhance the game-day experience for suite-holders.

Constellation will benefit from various marketing assets at Bulls and Blackhawks games, including in-game branding, concourse signage, team logo rights and scoreboard features.

Both teams and the arena have partnered with Constellation since the 2011-12 season.
