Financial services company Comerica has extended a commercial partnership with the Dallas Stars NHL ice hockey franchise.
The length of the multi-year deal was not disclosed.
Comerica will continue to serve as the official banking partner of the Stars, with a large new sign to be fixed just below the press box, to give the brand visibility during games.
The bank will also be showcased in advertisements on Stars broadcasts along with virtual signage, and will sponsor the team and player statistic pages on DallasStars.com.
Comerica's executive vice-president and chief marketing officer, Jim Weber, said: “As the largest US commercial bank headquartered in Texas, we are excited to embark on a multifaceted partnership with the new Dallas Stars. This partnership represents a unique opportunity for Comerica to leverage our strong local presence and national footprint, as well as strengthen brand awareness and affinity, while building enduring business relationships with Stars and NHL fans."
