Coca-Cola continues with Bayern for three more years

BAYERN MUNICH has agreed a sponsorship extension with global soft drinks manufacturer Coca-Cola.

Coca-Cola has been a partner of the Bundesliga team for 45 years and the renewal will see the relationship between the company and the club extend until 2016.

The company’s Coke Zero product will be the brand in focus for activation initiatives with the club.

The deal marks the second renewal of a commercial agreement for Bayern this month after Lufthansa, Germany’s national airline, extended its support for the club for a further five years.

Lufthansa will continue as Bayern Munich’s Official Carrier until 2018 after first partnering with the club in 2005.

Both Coca-Cola and Lufthansa are Premium Partners (tier two) of Bayern Munich, alongside Audi, Samsung, Yingli Solar, Bwin HypoVereinsbank, Imtech and Paulaner.

The team’s Main Sponsors are kit supplier adidas and shirt sponsor Deutsche Telekom.
