Sports equipment manufacturer Victor has entered into a partnership with the Table Tennis and Badminton Center of China.
Victor has agreed a three-year deal with the body to become the title sponsor and equipment partner of six badminton tournaments in China spanning 2016 to 2018.
The Yutang Sports website said that the agreement would include such tournaments as the National Badminton Team Championships, the National Badminton Championships and the National Badminton Youth Championships.
As part of the deal, the Chinese firm’s branding will appear on the kits of players during matches. The company will also provide shirts, equipment and an on-site racket-threading service.
China currently has three men and four women ranked inside the world’s top 10. Chen Long (pictured) is the current men’s world No.1.
