Major League Soccer team Chicago Fire has announced a renewed multi-year partnership with global speciality steel distributor Magellan Corporation.
Under the agreement, Magellan and its selected charitable partners will receive matchday representation during home matches via LED boards, locker-room branding and placement on the seats in the home and away dugouts.
Magellan’s existing deal with Chicago Fire still had a year to run and it was also the presenting partner of the team’s Season Kickoff Luncheon.
The organisations that will also receive exposure under the agreement are La Rabida Children’s Hospital, Old Town School of Folk Music, Gilda’ Club Chicago and the DuSable Museum.
Chicago Fire began its 2015 MLS campaign with a 2-0 defeat against defending champion Los Angeles Galaxy on Friday.
