The Brazilian Football Confederation (CBF) has extended and expanded a sponsorship deal with automotive manufacturer Chevrolet.
Under the new two-year agreement, from 2016 to 2017, Chevrolet’s branding will be visible on the back of the national team’s training shirt, replacing the place previously occupied by Sadia, which did not renew its deal.
Chevrolet’s branding was previously situated on the training kit’s playing shorts.
The deal is valued at approximately $15m (€13.7m).
The CBF has also lost Gillette and Michelin as sponsors in recent months.
Chevrolet replaced Volkswagen as the CBF’s car partner following the 2014 Fifa World Cup.
