Caterham F1 stays connected with Truphone

International mobile network operator Truphone has extended its sponsorship of the Caterham Formula One motor racing team.

Truphone first partnered with Caterham F1 in 2013 as the provider of the team’s mobile telecommunications requirements. The new agreement is for “2014 and beyond” according to a statement released on the team’s official website.

The company will continue to supply a range of products such as handsets and SIM cards and now benefits from branding space on Caterham’s CT05 race cars for the 2014 season.

Additionally, Truphone will extend collaboration with Caterham’s IT staff to develop new mobile telecommunications solutions to support the team’s operations.

Caterham drivers Kamui Kobayashi and Marcus Ericsson both failed to finish the season-opening Australian Grand Prix this weekend.
