Spanish LaLiga football club Real Madrid has entered into a partnership with financial services company CaixaBank.
The three-and-a-half-year deal will run until the end of the 2019-20 season and names CaixaBank as the official bank of Real Madrid.
As part of the agreement, CaixaBank will be granted exclusive club sponsorship rights in the banking sector across Spain and Portugal.
CaixaBank will also benefit from branding rights at Real Madrid's various facilities, as well as hospitality packages for its clients and exposure across the club’s communication channels.
CaixaBank now holds partnerships with 13 LaLiga teams. It has previously partnered with Real to aid its financial operations, along with other commercial areas such as a ticket sales service via CaixaBank cash machines, which commenced in the 2003-04 season.
