Italian Serie A football club Cagliari has entered into a three-year partnership with the Gsport agency to develop its commercial activities.
A prime focus of the tie-up will be Gsport attempting to drive sponsorship sales, while the agency will also take charge of the redevelopment of hospitality space at Cagliari’s Sant’Elia stadium.
The deal with Gsport is Cagliari’s first major commercial move since businessman Thomas Guilini completed his surprise takeover at the expense of a US consortium last month.
Cagliari finished 15th in Serie A in 2013-14 and the team is preparing for the forthcoming season under new coach Zdenek Zeman.
