Fast food restaurant chain Burger King has extended its partnership with Indian Premier League cricket franchise Mumbai Indians.
The deal will take in the ongoing 2019 IPL season, with Burger King having first partnered with the team last year.
Mumbai will sport the Burger King logo on the trousers of its kit, while the company has created the Mumbai Indians Masala Whopper, which will be available in its restaurants located across Mumbai, Pune and Gujarat.
In conjunction with its ‘Sixes for Kings’ campaign, throughout the 2019 season each six hit and wicket taken by a Mumbai player will see Burger King donate Whopper meals to the girls of Avasara Foundation, a non-governmental education organisation based in Pune.
