The Brazilian Football Confederation (CBF) has extended its partnership with the Gol Linhas Aéreas airline.
Gol will continue to serve as the official carrier of the Brazilian national team until 2020 after agreeing a new four-year deal with the CBF.
The announcement of the extension coincided with the unveiling of the national team’s new official plane. The plane is branded in the team’s colours and has been named #VoaCanarinho to reflect the nickname of the team.
Brazil will use the plane for the first time on March 20 when it travels to Montevideo for a 2018 Fifa World Cup qualifier against Uruguay.
The CBF first partnered with Gol in 2013 ahead of Brazil’s staging of the World Cup the following year.
