The Brazilian Football Confederation (CBF) has terminated its sponsorship deal with Turkish blockchain company Bitci.

According to Brazilian sports business website Máquina do Esporte, the CBF has taken action after several months of delayed payments. Bitci had been missing from the sponsors' backdrop when national team coach Tite announced Brazil’s squad for the 2022 Fifa World Cup earlier this month.
