Brazil takes off with new airline partner

The Brazilian Football Confederation (CBF) has agreed a four-year sponsorship deal with Gol Linhas Aéreas.

Latin America’s largest low-cost airline will serve as the official airline to the Brazil national team. The deal also includes rights to domestic club competitions the Campeonato Brasileiro and Copa do Brasil.

The agreement will run through the 2014 Fifa World Cup, which will take place in Brazil.

Gol becomes the latest addition to the CBF’s sponsorship roster, which also includes Nike, Itau, Vivo, Guarana Antarctica, Seara, Nestle, Extra, Gillette, Volkswagen and MasterCard.
