The Boca Raton Bowl college American football game has signed the Marmot clothing and equipment company as its new title sponsor.
This year’s showpiece, which will take place at Florida Atlantic University in Boca Raton on December 22, will be known as the 2015 Marmot Boca Raton Bowl.
The second edition of the Bowl will pit a Mid-American Conference side against an American Athletic Conference team.
“The Marmot Boca Raton Bowl fits perfectly into our strategy to introduce the brand to new customers in a way that is most likely to be noticed,” Tom Fritz, Marmot’s vice-president of marketing, said.
Last year’s inaugural Boca Raton Bowl was won by Marshall University’s representative team.
