German Bundesliga football club Mainz 05 has agreed a two-year extension to its partnership with brewery Bitburger.
The contract between the two parties will now run through to 2020, with Bitburger having served as Mainz’s beer partner since 2013.
In addition to serving rights at the Opel Arena, the agreement also includes a comprehensive advertising package at Mainz’s stadium.
Bitburger is headquartered in the city of Bitburg, Rhineland-Palatinate, with Mainz the capital of the German state.
