Online gaming company BetVictor has stepped up its involvement with World Snooker by becoming title sponsor of a further two Home Nations events.
BetVictor will back the Northern Ireland Open and Scottish Open. This follows the company’s sponsorship of the English Open, the first event in the Home Nations series which was won by Stuart Bingham in Crawley last month.
The BetVictor Northern Ireland Open will run from November 12-18 at Belfast’s Waterfront Hall, followed by the BetVictor Scottish Open at Glasgow’s Emirates Arena from December 10-16.
World Snooker chairman Barry Hearn said: “The company has been a strong supporter of the sport, having previously sponsored the Welsh Open from 2013 for four consecutive years and more recently the English Open, so we’re very pleased to be building on this partnership.”
Director of sportsbook and VIP at BetVictor, Matt Scarrott, added: “We were able to reach millions of spectators around the world as part of our sponsorship of the BetVictor English Open, and when the opportunity came to expand our partnership it was a no-brainer.”
