The Royal Belgian Football Association (KBVB) has entered into a partnership with watchmaker Ice-Watch.
The partnership runs until December 31, 2022 and names Ice-Watch as the official timekeeper of all matches organised by the KBVB.
As part of the agreement, a Belgium-branded collection of watches will be released in the coming weeks. Belgian star Eden Hazard (pictured), who plays for English Premier League club Chelsea, has also been named as an Ice-Watch ambassador.
The deal has been signed ahead of this summer’s Fifa World Cup in Russia, where Belgium has been drawn alongside England, Tunisia and Panama in Group G.
