Turkish domestic appliances brand Beko has reportedly renewed a deal to sponsor Spanish LaLiga football giant Barcelona.
The agreement will run for three seasons, from 2018-19 to 2020-21, according to Catalan daily newspaper El Mundo Deportivo, with an option to extend the contract.
Under the new deal, Beko’s branding will move to the front of the Barcelona training kit from its current position on the back.
There is no mention in the report of whether Beko’s logo will remain on the sleeve of the Barcelona first-team shirt, as is the case in the current agreement.
The newspaper said that the deal will be worth €19m per year and will be confirmed officially in the second week of February.
The report added that Beko will be designated as the third main sponsor of the club, below sportswear provider Nike and Japanese electronics company Rakuten, which serves as the main shirt sponsor.
Beko will also receive a significant branding presence at Barcelona’s training ground.
