Beauty brand links up with World Rugby

World Rugby, the global governing body of rugby union, has unveiled a partnership with beauty and aromatherapy brand Puressentiel.

The agreement will run for four years, from 2016 to 2019.

Under the four-year deal, Puressentiel will be associated with a number of major tournaments under the World Rugby umbrella, including the U-20 Championship, men's and women's Sevens Series and Women's Rugby World Cup tournaments. Puressentiel will also team up with World Rugby to promote the sport in key markets, including Asia, ahead of the 2019 Rugby World Cup in Japan.

World Rugby will also collaborate with Puressentiel to design and deliver a range of sporting lifestyle products for the international marketplace.

World Rugby’s head of commercial, broadcast and marketing, Murray Barnett, said: “Since our re-launch as World Rugby in November 2014, we have seen an increasing number of brands and companies wishing to associate with rugby and its character-building values as well as World Rugby's global properties and momentum, which is exciting for the sport.”
