German 1.Bundesliga top-tier football club Bayer 04 Leverkusen has announced a new partnership with SalzburgerLand Tourismus, the tourism agency in Salzburg, Austria.
The agreement will run for three seasons, from 2013-14 to 2015-16.
SalzburgerLand has been recruited as an official travel partner of the club in a broad deal that includes giving Leverkusen the chance to train and play a pre-season game against “prestigious opposition” in the Zell am See–Kaprun district of Salzburg this summer.
“This agreement enables us to pursue completely new paths and we see the opportunity of launching a special campaign in North Rhine Westphalia, which is a very important target market for us in Germany,” SalzburgerLand Tourismus managing director Leo Bauernberger said.
