German Basketball Bundesliga (BBL) clubs EWE Baskets Oldenburg and the Giessen 46ers have renewed jersey sponsorship deals with insurance company Öffentlichen Versicherungen Oldenburg and banking group Volksbank, respectively.
The length of EWE Baskets Oldenburg’s new deal was not disclosed, although it will at least cover the 2016-17 BBL season. The company will continue to provide support for the club’s youth and junior teams as part of the agreement.
The 46ers confirmed that Volksbank has signed a new one-year deal to remain the club’s shirt sponsor for the 2016-17 campaign. Volksbank’s branding will be present on the front of the team’s jerseys and on the players’ shorts.
Volksbank’s logo will also be present on the playing surface at Sporthall Giessen-Ost, the team’s home arena.
