Spanish Liga football club Barcelona has enhanced its partnership with Chinese electronics manufacturer Oppo under a new two-season contract.
The reigning Spanish champion first partnered with Oppo last year under a three-season deal covering the 2015-16 to 2017-18 campaigns. This agreement has now been upgraded to run over the next two seasons, with Oppo being granted global rights as Barcelona’s official mobile phone device, as well as specific market rights in Indonesia.
The sponsorship agreement between Barcelona and Oppo covers different areas, such as football events, activities for supporters, television advertising, and the launch of special edition mobile devices and accessories. In addition, the Oppo logo will be displayed on LED advertising boards at the club’s Camp Nou stadium.
Barcelona’s vice-president of marketing and communications, Manel Arroyo, said: “Indonesia is an important territory for FC Barcelona. We are blessed to have more than 26 million fans in the country. With this milestone incorporating Indonesia into our partnership with Oppo, we look forward to bringing the authentic Barça experience to Oppo users in Indonesia, and Oppo’s outstanding products to our local fans.”
