German 1.Bundesliga football club Hertha Berlin has extended its partnership with Audi for an additional three years, from 2013-14 to 2015-16.
The automotive company has been an exclusive partner of the team since the 2006-07 season and will continue to hold a number of privileges as a result of the new agreement.
As well as receiving television-relevant advertising at home games, Audi will also remain central to the club’s various media and PR activities throughout the course of the deal.
In addition, the firm will have access to a range of hospitality services at the club’s Olympiastadion home. It will also supply first team management and players with a range of Audi models, while under a new fan interaction campaign supporters will have the chance to gain access to a new Audi A3 sedan for one year.
Having been relegated from the 1.Bundesliga in 2009-10, Hertha sealed its return to the top division last season by winning the 2.Bundesliga title. Audi will continue in Hertha’s exclusive partner tier alongside AirBerlin, AOK, Berliner Volksbank, Carlsberg, Cashpoint, Coca-Cola and RS2.
