US financial services company Associated Bank has renewed its partnership with North American Major League Baseball franchise the Milwaukee Brewers.
Under the new deal, the length of which was not disclosed, Associated Bank will develop new Brewers-branded Visa credit cards and MasterCard debit cards. Supporters will receive a 10 per cent discount at the Brewers Team Store if they choose to purchase one of the cards.
The two parties will also continue to cooperate on the Hits for Homes charity initiative, which provides support to home-owners on low to moderate incomes through non-profit organisation Housing Resources Inc (HRI).
As part of the initiative, Associated Bank and the Brewers Community Foundation will donate $150 (€132) to HRI every time a hit is recorded in a Brewers home game during the 2016 MLB season.
“This is a relationship that includes elements that not only impact our two organisations, but also benefits our fans and mutual charitable partners in the community,” Brewers chief operating officer Rick Schlesinger said.
Associated Bank has been a partner of the Brewers since 2006.
