Chinese investment holding company Daohe Group has agreed a sponsorship deal with endurance motor racing championship the Asian Le Mans Series.
Daohe Group will serve as the main sponsor of the series for its 2016-17 season, which begins next month.
The season comprises four events, the first of which will take place in Zhuhai, China from October 28-30. The series then travels to Fuji, Japan in December, and Buriram, Thailand and Sepang, Malaysia in January.
Asian Le Mans managing director Cyrille Taesch Wahlen said: “Signing such a partnership with a Chinese group the year we return to China is a very encouraging sign of the potential of the series.
“To have such an important group wanting to associate their brand to our events is an honour and a fantastic opportunity to reach a wider audience in China and Asia.”
