Integrated resorts company Aquis has struck a deal to become the new title sponsor of Australian Super Rugby franchise the Brumbies.
The deal will run for six years, from the 2015 season until 2020.
Under the agreement, Aquis will also become a principal partner of the team and will benefit from branding placement on the front on players’ jerseys.
Players will wear the new shirts for the first time during the Brumbies’ first game of the 2015 Super Rugby season against the Queensland Reds on Friday.
According to a report in the Sydney Morning Herald newspaper, the partnership may also include the exclusive use of an Aquis private jet. The aircraft, which was previously used by NFL American football franchise the Seattle Seahawks, could be used to carry the Brumbies to and from matches in New Zealand and South Africa.
