The America’s Cup has announced two new partners from the hospitality sector ahead of the start of the 2013 edition of the historic sailing race.
St Regis Hotels & Resorts, operated by Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide, has linked up with the America’s Cup as the event’s official hotel and resort, while Levy Restaurants has signed up as official restaurant partner.
The 2013 event in San Francisco, US, will get underway in earnest with the Louis Vuitton Cup challenger series on July 7 before the America’s Cup Match takes place from September 7-21.
Levy Restaurants is involved in a number of major US sporting events, including the US Open tennis tournament, the Kentucky Derby horse racing event and American football’s NFL Super Bowl.
