Spread betting and CFD trading firm CMC Markets has struck a deal to become a partner of Ben Ainslie Racing, the UK’s entry for the 35th America’s Cup sailing series.
Under the deal, CMC will serve as an official partner of the team throughout the America’s Cup campaign, which concludes in Bermuda in 2017.
CMC has also become a partner of the America Cup’s World Series Portsmouth, a UK event that began on Thursday, marking the start of the 35th America’s Cup.
In addition, CMC will hold a trading competition in which team principal Ben Ainslie as well as representatives from the team’s title sponsor Land Rover will raise money for charity.
