Global battery brand Duracell has announced a partnership with New Zealand Rugby to sponsor reigning world champion the All Blacks.
To launch the deal, All Blacks players Sam Cane, Steven Luatua and Tawera Kerr-Barlow have starred in a new Duracell television commercial.
The sponsorship will be activated through a range of consumer giveaways, nationwide promotions and exclusive behind-the-scenes videos filmed with the New Zealand team.
The first 60 second video clip featuring the All Blacks and Duracell, launched during Saturday’s 41-33 victory for the hosts over rival Australia to complete a 3-0 Bledisloe Cup whitewash.
Terms of the agreement were not disclosed.
