Manchester-based financial services company AJ Bell has expanded its support to both codes of rugby in the north west of England by securing sponsorship deals with Sale Sharks and Salford Red Devils.
In September, AJ Bell sealed a nine-year agreement to re-name the Salford City Stadium as the AJ Bell Stadium – a rugby specific venue that is home to the Sharks, of rugby union’s Premiership, and Super League team Salford Red Devils.
The specific terms of the sponsorship agreement were undisclosed.
In other news, Salford’s Super League counterpart Castleford Tigers has announced a kit sponsorship deal with locally based car dealership Riverside Car Sales.
For the 2014 season, Riverside Car Sales’ logo will feature on the back of the Tigers’ home and away shirts, a designation it previously enjoyed in 2010 having started sponsoring the club a year earlier.
