The Royal Belgian Football Association has entered into a new long-term kit partnership with sportswear company Adidas.
Adidas will replace fellow sportswear company Burrda as the national team’s official kit supplier.
Although the precise terms of the agreement have not been disclosed, it has been confirmed that the partnership will run beyond the qualifying rounds for the 2016 Uefa European Championships national team competition.
The deal will be activated officially on September 1, and the Belgium national team will wear the new kits for the first time in a friendly match versus Australia on September 4 – the same day that the kits will become available for the public. Pre-sale orders for the kits began today (Thursday).
Belgium reached the quarter-finals of 2014 Fifa World Cup this summer before losing 1-0 to eventual runner-up Argentina.
