Adidas has agreed a new long-term footwear partnership with world No.1 tennis player, Novak Djokovic.
Although financial details and the length of the deal have not been disclosed, the new partnership will follow on from Djokovic’s personal decision to wear Adidas’ Barricade shoe for a number of years.
The Serbian, who has won all of his six grand slam titles wearing the Adidas Barricade shoe, also debuted the Barricade 7 at the French Open last week – a tournament where Adidas is also acting as an official sponsor.
Djokovic entered into a five-year partnership with Japanese clothing brand Uniqlo in May 2012 following the end of his previous agreement with Italian manufacturer Sergio Tacchini.
