French employment agency network Adecco has entered into a partnership with the Tour de France cycling event.
Adecco has been named as the official recruiter of the Tour de France until the summer of 2020.
The deal also assigns Adecco an official supplier role for the Paris-Roubaix, Paris-Nice, Paris-Tours and Critérium du Dauphiné races.
As a partner of the Tour de France, Adecco will support the Win4Youth program, through which exercise is used to provide donations for associations fighting exclusion. The company will also provide more than 400 volunteers to supply goods to event staff during the race through the famous publicity caravan that provides exposure to sponsors during the race.
Adecco will also provide services to cyclists who are looking towards their careers post-sport.
Christian Prudhomme, the Tour’s race director, said: “The Tour de France must be useful. With its territorial roots and its solidarity initiatives, Adecco will benefit the actors of the ‘Grande Boucle’ before, during and after the race.”
Adecco agreed the deal with Amaury Sport Organisation, organiser of the Tour de France.
