American investment company 777 Partners has acquired a stake in Australian A-Leagues football club Melbourne Victory, adding to a portfolio that now includes five football clubs around the world.
Melbourne Victory chairman Anthony Di Pietro said the deal would spur development at the club by giving it "access to world-class data and analytics professionals, advanced player development techniques and global commercial opportunities".
