Unibet deal kicks off PSG’s regional betting strategy

French Ligue 1 champions Paris Saint-Germain are thought to be making around €1.5m ($1.7m) per year from the club's two-year regional deal with European online betting brand Unibet – but could more than double that amount from additional betting category deals covering Asia-Pacific, the Americas and Africa.

The deal puts Unibet in the club’s Official Partner tier, in which sponsors pay fees ranging between €1m and €2.5m per year, according to experts.
