The rebooted XFL has secured a commercial boost by landing ZOA Energy as its official and exclusive energy drink.
As part of the agreement, ZOA will be the presenting sponsor for the kickoff weekend and opening-day games across the United States on February 18, 2023.
Throughout the season, ZOA and the XFL will roll out curated fan-first experiences and activations, both in and out of the stadiums. Every end zone in each stadium will be transformed into the official “ZOA Energy Fan Zone,” where the most spirited fan will be honored as the “ZOA Energy Fan of the House.”
In addition, the ZOA+ pre-workout supplement will be sponsoring the XFL Weight Room.
“We are thrilled to add ZOA Energy, a rapidly growing and exciting brand, to our list of league partners,” said Russ Brandon, XFL president. “XFL fans always bring the energy on game day. In partnership with ZOA, we can ignite that energy and their passion for football with exclusive experiences and events throughout the season. The ZOA brand aligns strongly with ours – purpose-driven, fan-focused and innovative – and to collaborate in a way that connects with fans and players alike is exactly what we look for in a partner.”The XFL recently named United States sportswear and footwear manufacturer Under Armour as its official uniform partner ahead of the spring-season American football league’s revival in 2023. The Baltimore, Maryland-based Under Armour will be the exclusive provider of all on-field uniforms, including jerseys, base layer, and sideline and training apparel, for all XFL teams.
In October, the XFL announced the names and brand identities of its eight teams, containing a mix of the old and the new. They are the: Arlington Renegades, DC Defenders, Houston Roughnecks, Orlando Guardians, San Antonio Brahmas, Seattle Sea Dragons, St. Louis BattleHawks, and Vegas Vipers.
