English Super League rugby league club Wigan Warriors has signed bookmaker 188Bet as its new main sponsor.
The firm will partner with the club during the 2016 Super League season and will replace fellow bookmaker Coral as the Warriors’ official main sponsor.
As part of the agreement, Wigan will display 188Bet’s logo across the front of its playing jerseys.
“As well as shirt sponsorship the agreement also includes provision for significant branding at the DW Stadium and representation on the club’s official digital and social media channels,” Simon Collinson, the club’s marketing director, said.
The two parties have teamed up in the past, with 188Bet’s branding having featured on the shoulder of Wigan’s playing shirts during the 2010 Super League season.
