Telco Vodafone has renewed its title-sponsorship deal with the Warriors, the Auckland-based team that plays in Australia’s National Rugby League.
The new deal will run for two years and can be renewed by a further two years. Vodafone first teamed up with the Warriors in 1998.
The agreement includes exposure on the Warriors’ kit, as well as the team carrying the name of the telco.
Warriors chief executive Cameron George said: “It’s difficult to find words to adequately capture how much we appreciate the commitment, loyalty and passion Vodafone brings to our relationship.
“Vodafone has been there for us unconditionally and we’re thrilled our relationship has been extended by another two years.”
The Warriors are the only NRL team based in New Zealand.
