VfL Wolfsburg has signed a five-year partnership with Dutch isotonic drinks manufacturer Osonyq.
German Bundesliga club VfL Wolfsburg has signed a five-year partnership with Dutch isotonic drinks manufacturer Osonyq.
The deal makes Osonyq the official sports drink of VfL Wolfsburg covering the club’s men’s, women’s and academy teams.
As part of the deal, Osonyq will have LED presence and activation rights at VfL Wolfsburg’s Volkswagen Arena, presence in the club’s merchandise and retail outlets and digital activations to interact with the club’s fanbase.
Marcel Kraaibeek, Osonyq’s chief sales officer, said: “The ambition of the club in combination with their healthy values and strong local partnerships has been the deciding factor for us to enter into this partnership.
“Together we will work on strong activations to inform the future talent about the importance to fuel your body with natural and more healthy ingredients.”

The agreement marks the brand’s first entry into sports sponsorship in Germany after previous football club partnerships with Juventus in Italy, Vitesse Arnheim in the Netherlands, West Ham United in England and AS Monaco in France.
The brand has also struck partnerships with several high-profile Dutch athlete, including emerging tennis star Kiki Bertens.
