Financial services company City National Bank has entered into a multi-year partnership with the Vegas Golden Knights, through which it will take on naming rights to the NHL ice hockey team’s new practice facility.
The facility, which is due to open later this summer, will officially be known as City National Arena.
The company will also serve as the official bank of the franchise, which is preparing for its first-ever season in the NHL.
City National Bank will receive in-arena branding and signage at the practice facility, as well as a patch on the team’s practice jerseys and advertising space at the Golden Knights' home venue, T-Mobile Arena.
City National Bank will also title sponsor one Golden Knights match each season, with fans to receive special giveaway items as part of the promotion.
“Our practice facility was designed to be the official home of the Vegas Golden Knights but also a state-of-the-art community ice centre for all Las Vegans to enjoy,” Golden Knights chairman and chief executive Bill Foley said.
“We are thrilled to partner with City National Bank on this endeavour, as City National shares in our vision of growing the sport of hockey in Southern Nevada and has a strong commitment to the community. City National Arena will provide best-in-class amenities and programs for all skill levels and experience, regardless of age or gender. We look forward to officially opening our doors later this summer.”
