Valencia extends with shirt sponsor ahead of centenary season

Spanish LaLiga football club Valencia has renewed its shirt sponsorship deal with US-based technology company BLU Products.

The new one-year deal will cover the 2018-19 LaLiga campaign, which will mark Valencia’s centenary season.

As part of the agreement, the 'Blu Bold Like Us' logo will feature on the club’s shirts in all competitions next season.

Valencia first partnered with BLU Products, which specialises in manufacturing mobile devices, in May, with the two parties having an agreed an initial one-year deal covering the current 2017-18 season. The team had gone the previous three seasons without a shirt sponsor.

Valencia’s marketing manager Jorge Garcia said: “(The club) is proud that an international brand like BLU has trusted to renew its sponsorship of Valencia CF for an additional season. It is very important to continue with the support of big companies like BLU Products next season when Valencia CF will celebrate its 100 years of history in a spectacular way that we will share with all the fans. Both entities have in common values such as innovation and ambition, indispensable principles to evolve, grow and achieve success stories, and we want to achieve them together.”

Valencia has enjoyed an impressive start to the 2017-18 season and currently sits in third place in LaLiga.
