Pay-as-you-go energy provider Utilita has extended its partnership with English Premier League football club Crystal Palace.
Utilita will retain its position as the club’s official energy partner, and will also continue to serve as the shirt sponsor of Palace’s women’s team. The length of the new agreement was not disclosed.
As part of the agreement, Utilita will give fans the chance to win prizes and experiences with the club. Fans that switch to Utilita will benefit from a £25 (€27.50/$33) club shop voucher and a Palace-branded cover for their smart meter.
Utilita will also work with the Palace For Life Foundation on education and employment initiatives for young people in south London.
Richard Spokes, chairman of Crystal Palace Ladies, said: “The Utilita partnership is further evidence that Crystal Palace Ladies FC and the women’s game are hugely credible opportunities for market-leading businesses. This partnership has been recognised across football and has drawn huge levels of positive feedback and will form an integral part of our bid to join the Women’s Super League.”
Utilita first partnered with Palace at the start of the 2016-17 season. The company also agreed a deal with fellow Premier League club Southampton last week.
